Our History And Mission

Simple LEAF was formed with one mission in mind, to help those who would like to know the function and methods of landscape management. Starting with the homeowner and evolving into company and municipality training programs, this main goal drives all that we do. As the owner, I have spent over 15 years gaining experience in all areas of landscaping, starting in the golf industry and moving into landscape maintenance, including pesticide applications and landscape irrigation, to the supply industry and landscape construction. My well rounded experiences coupled with my Associates of Science and Certificate in Horticulture from Front Range Community College as well as Bachelors of Science in Environmental Horticulture Turfgrass Management from Colorado State University, I know the real world applications behind the science of landscaping. You will also find me teaching Adult Education classes at the Gardens on Spring Creek in Irrigation. And while I hold industry certifications in Irrigation and Hardscape installation, I understand the issues that are presented to the landscape novice and have the ability to break it down to make it easy to understand and manageable. I have trained many new employees in the landscape industry and some have even gone on to be foremen themselves or start their own businesses. And trust me, you can Learn Your Landscape, and I can help make it Simple.

They say if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. I enjoy my career choice very much and am always continuing to learn myself. As the industry evolves I will continue to do so as well, and continue to enjoy every minute of it. There are few industries that have such a high return on investment and satisfaction from a hard day's work, and nothing feels better than a feeling of accomplishment when you look back on the fruits of your labor, especially when you can enjoy it in the wonderful, colorful state of Colorado!

When I’m not consulting or digging holes, I love spending time with my wonderful family, my wife Annaliese and our sweet pup Lina. With so many great things, it's hard not to be appreciative to be where I am today. Let me help you find a new appreciation for your landscape and enjoy every moment you can while gaining a new found feeling of accomplishment!
